Georgia High School Football Rankings: Week 6

This week’s 4A-7A Top 25 Georgia high school football rankings saw more movement among the top 10 teams than any of our previous weeks’ rankings, with Colquitt County the only top-10 team to remain in their previous week’s spot at No. 8.

Every other team moved in the ranking, including our top-ranked Buford Wolves, who had occupied the No. 1 spot from day one. Their shutout loss moved them to No. 2 and awarded Collins Hill the top spot this week. We also welcome Creekside to the Top 25 this week for the first time this season.

There are still some really good teams just waiting for one or more of our Top 25 to stumble so they can make their move. But, for now, we feel that these are the best 25 teams in 4A, 5A, 6A, and 7A so far.

This week’s Top 25 Georgia high school football rankings for 3A-1A saw our top two teams stay right where were they were, while the rest of our top 10 changed positions.

Meanwhile, a couple of teams took a tumble down the rankings. ELCA lost yet another close one, again to a larger school, this time a 3-point defeat to 5A Blessed Trinity. They fall four spots to No. 9. Lovett, who was upset by unranked South Atlanta, falls to No. 25 this week.
