As many of you may have heard, Colquitt County head football coach Rush Propst has been suspended for one year by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. The reason for the suspension is the head-butt heard ‘round the world that Propst delivered to kicker Luis Martinez during the Mill Creek playoff game. Many around the high school football world are outraged with the decision of the GAPSC; none more than Colquitt County Packer nation. The citizens of Moultrie are now protesting the suspension in their own creative way. Shuga Foot Monograms and Gifts has begun to sell “#FreePropst” t-shirts as their own way of protesting the suspension. The shirts are only $10 and have been flying off the shelves. The Packer Nation is as passionate a fan base as any in Georgia and I don’t see the protest or the sale of these t-shirts dying down any time soon.
