2025 Florida High School Football Rankings: 1A team enters ahead of state championships

For the second-to-last time this season, our Florida high school football rankings receive a loaded update following the state semifinal round. Here is the latest Florida consensus Top 25 entering the state championships in Miami.

This week’s update sees change almost everywhere aside from the top five, headlined by a few teams in particular rising a little more than others. Among those is Lake Mary up seven spots to No. 16, while West Broward and Jones also see significant jumps just ahead of the Rams, along with 1A’s Cardinal Newman entering the Top 25 at No. 20.

In addition to that takeaway, here are the seven state championship games set to be played this week in each classification, as well as each’s ranking:

  • 7A – No. 5 Vero Beach vs. No. 16 Lake Mary
  • 6A – No. 8 West Boca Raton vs. No. 15 West Broward
  • 5A – No. 2 St. Thomas Aquinas vs. No. 7 Lakeland
  • 4A – No. 13 American Heritage vs. No. 14 Jones
  • 3A – No. 3 Miami Northwestern vs. No. 6 Raines
  • 2A – No. 11 Cardinal Mooney vs. No. 12 Bolles
  • 1A – No. 4 Chaminade-Madonna vs. No. 20 Cardinal Newman
