After starting 3-1 in the season, the East Hall Vikings were forced to forfeit their next two games against region opponents due to a few players contracting COVID-19. They are now 4-3 and only have a few chances to catch up and finish with a winning record. The start of the 2020 football season for the Vikings was one of the best ones that they’ve had in the past couple of years. It’s the first time since 2017 that they’ve even had a victory in the first four games, let alone three wins. Will the Vikings be able to pull out of the slump forced upon them by COVID? Only time will tell.
