Offense

TOP PERFORMER: Cook County RB Keshun McKeever is at the top of our list for his performance in Cook’s win over ACE Charter in Round 1 of the Georgia high school football playoffs. The junior, who also made this list in Week 10 and Week 12 of the regular season, had 8 rushing TDs and 301 yards rushing to lead the Hornets.

Houston County sophomore QB AJ Hill was 28-for-38 for 404 yards passing with 4 TDs.

Worth County QB Chip Cooper passed for 381 yards and 4 TDs on 32-of-54 passing, and he rushed 15 times for 84 yards.

Early County junior RB Ty Stovall rushed 17 times for 343 yards and 7 TDs to lead the Bobcats to a 60-17 win over Turner County.

Peach County senior RB Chris McMillian rushed for 228 yards on 34 carries with 2 TDs to lead Peach County to victory over Crisp.

Defense

Camden County junior LB Cooper Thornhill had an impressive night in Round 1 of the Georgia high school playoffs, leading the Wildcats defense with 13 tackles, including 4 TFL, in Camden’s victory. Thornhill also played 22 snaps on offense at tight end.

Colquitt County had two players, Jack Lutrell and Will Robbins, with pick-6 interceptions to lead the Pack defensive effort Saturday night against Pebblebrook.

Northside Warner Robins DB Nicolas Linder had an interception with just one minute remaining to stop a Glynn Academy drive and secure his team’s first-round playoff win.

Hughes DB and Auburn commit Terrance Love had a 58-yard INT return for a TD to lead his team’s defensive effort against River Ridge.

Special Teams

Berrien punter Hayden Futch allowed Berrien to win the battle of field position by averaging 43.5 yards per punt on 6 attempts.

Ware County’s Alex Justice returned a kickoff 91 yards for the TD in the Gators’ playoff win over Jones County.

Cook placekicker Christian Briones was a perfect 11-for-11 on PATs in the Hornets’ playoff victory.

Lee County KR Kason Hooks had an 80-yard kick return for a TD in the Trojans’ first-round win over Effingham.

Lowndes’ Kevis Thomas had a 99-yard kickoff return for a TD in first-round playoff action against Carrollton.

Woodward K Hudson Hanges was 2-for-2 on FG attempts of 22 and 47 yards, along with a perfect 5-for-05 performance on PATs.
