Pickett is a varsity starter as an eighth-grader and has played well. A former wide receiver who has made the move to defense, he’s showing off good hands, loose hips, fluid movement, good range and physical play. I can’t imagine he will be a sleeper for much longer. He currently holds early offers from USC, Miami, and the University of Florida. Keep an eye for him because this is the best kept secret in Florida from the class of 2025.
