Carrollton RB Cam Wood Among Top Performers in Round 3 of 2025 Georgia High School Football Playoffs

Here are our top 10 performers from Round 3 of the 2025 Georgia high school football playoffs.

Top Overall Performances

Carrollton running back Cam Wood had 23 carries for 173 yards and three TDs to lead the Trojans to a 34-14 win over Grayson.

Bowdon athlete Kaiden Prothro had four TD receptions, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery on a night when he became the Georgia high school football record holder for most career TD receptions with 63 total.

Top Offensive Performances

Thomas County Central running back Christian “Deuce” Lawrence had 24 carries for 107 yards rushing with one rushing TD and returned a kickoff 99 yards for another TD in the Yellow Jackets’ win over Woodward Academy.

Burke County quarterback Sean Vandiver scored six TDs and had 280 yards of offense to lead the Bears to a quarterfinal win over Rockmart.

Roswell wide receiver Wills Campbell had five receptions for 230 yards receiving and three touchdowns to lead Roswell to a 42-35 win over Sequoyah in the Class 5A quarterfinals.

Hebron Christian running back Devon Caldwell rushed for 351 yards with six TDs to lead the Lions to a 63-30 win over Prince Avenue Christian.

Valdosta running back Marquis Fennell had 24 carries for 187 yards rushing with two TDs plus 57 yards receiving with one receiving TD to lead the Cats’ offense against Walton.

Top Defensive Performances

Pepperell running back and defensive back Madoc Garcia had seven tackles and two interceptions, including a pick six for the Dragons in their win over Rabun County.

Top Special Teams Performances

Marist kicker Tyler Baradel connected on all three field goal attempts, including his 34-yard attempt as time expired, to lift the War Eagles to a 23-20 win over North Oconee in the Class 4A quarterfinals.

Buford kicker Andrew Ivaniciuc connected on field goals of 48 yards, 43 yards, and 39 yards to give Buford a 9-0 halftime lead over Douglas County. He was perfect on both extra-point attempts, and two of his punts were downed inside Douglas County’s own 2-yard line.
