Building the Ultimate Florida High School Fantasy Football Team
When building the ultimate fantasy football team, you are looking for one thing in particular: Who scores the most points? Points can come from many different areas including yardage, touchdowns, catches, tackles, and more.
Because of this, when building the ultimate Florida high school fantasy football team, you want the players with the most yardage and touchdowns. While this might not include the top overall recruits in the state, it does include seven of the best offensive players in the state, along with a dominant defense.
Here is the ultimate Florida high school fantasy football team pulled from players so far this season.
QB: Ahmad Haston – Palm Beach Central
At quarterback, you want a player that can provide consistent production through both the air and on the ground with a lot of yards and touchdowns– Haston is exactly that. Through three games so far this season, Haston has combined to throw for 956 yards and 14 touchdowns to begin his junior season, while also having rushed the ball four times for a total of 60 yards. While the rushing stats aren’t much compared to other dual-threat quarterbacks available, Haston’s 14 touchdowns through the air are hard to pass-up.
RB: Richard Young – Lehigh
The state’s top running back makes sense as the top selection in both real life and fantasy. Through three games so far this season, the five-star prospect has received 63 carries resulting in 661 yards and three touchdowns. While not much of a receiving threat, Young is a guarantee to receive 15+ carries for 150+ yards every week as a constant threat to find the end zone.
RB: Marquish Seabon – Lake Wales
The senior has lived in the end zone through the first three games of the season receiving 34 carries for 560 yards and nine touchdowns. Currently averaging 186.7 YPG, Seabon is already having a career-year, and has shown no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
WR: Javorian Wimberly – Palm Beach
We’ve already got Palm Beach’s quarterback on the team, why not a wide receiver? Through three games so far this season, Wimberly has totaled 19 catches which he has turned into 395 yards and five touchdowns. The junior also has two 150+ yard receiving games while also averaging 20.8 yards per catch.
WR: Censere Lee – Clearwater
Opposite Wimberly is Lee, who despite a down game last Friday is still having a phenomenal season. Through his first three games of the season, Lee has totaled 15 catches for 365 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 24.3 yards per catch.
TE: Pearce Spurlin III – South Walton
The popular pick at tight end in fantasy is to take the top overall player, and that is Spurlin. Through his first two games of the season, the junior totaled eight catches for 199 yards and four touchdowns.
D: IMG Academy
When selecting a defense, you simple go with the best available, and that is no-doubt IMG Academy. A unit that is loaded with countless four and five-star recruits, IMG has allowed 28 points so far this season, 21 of which came last week.
K: Brady Denaburg – Merritt Island
While Denaburg is a quarterback, he also serves as the kicker for Merritt Island. The senior is a perfect 11/11 on extra points this season, while also 6/8 on field goals.
