Buford Pitcher Kyle Krause Among Top Performers in Week 4 of 2026 Georgia High School Baseball Season

Here are our top 10 performers from Week 4 of the 2026 Georgia high school baseball season.

Buford pitcher Kyle Krause, a senior, delivered one of the rarest and most dominant performances of the 2026 Georgia high school baseball season with a perfect game against Collins Hill. Krause struck out five batters and allowed no hits or walks while facing the minimum number of hitters as the Wolves won 13-0. He improved to 2-0 on the season with the win.

Mt. de Sales pitcher Layne Defore, a junior, struck out 11 batters against Bulloch Academy on March 6, giving him 50 strikeouts on the season with a 1.59 ERA.

Clinch County’s Tate Denmark hit a grand slam to lead the Panthers to a win over Turner County. He finished the week with five RBIs.

Lowndes catcher Hank Drew went 9-for-11 with five doubles and four RBIs to lead the Vikings to a sweep of a three-game series against Richmond Hill.

Seminole County pitcher Brennen McGowen, a junior, struck out 18 batters, walked one, and allowed just one hit in a complete game shutout win over Pelham.

Valdosta pitcher Brooks Carter pitched a six-inning complete game shutout against Tift County, allowing no runs and one hit while striking out four batters in a region victory.

Warner Robins first baseman and third baseman Chase Plank went 8-for-10 at the plate over four games with two home runs, a triple, two doubles, four walks, and 13 RBIs.

Warner Robins pitcher Drew White struck out eight batters while allowing only one hit and no earned runs in five innings pitched against Northeast in the Demons’ 12-2 win.

Colquitt County pitcher Bowen DeRosso delivered on the mound and at the plate in a 5-1 win over Camden County, pitching a complete game and allowing just one run on four hits while also hitting a home run.

Toombs County pitcher Riley Kersey threw a complete game win for the Bulldogs, throwing 73 strikes on 102 pitches. He struck out eight batters while allowing just three earned runs and walking only one batter against Screven County.
