Despite missing games due to injury, he has dominated on both sides of the football. In seven games, he scored 11 times from the wildcat position offensively. Add in a couple pick sixes and double-digit tackles for loss, and you have one of the nation’s premier players. Carter has committed to play linebacker at Clemson and figures to play an important part in a speedy and physical Tiger defense. Previous winners of this award include Micah Parsons, Bryan Bresee, and Lanier standout Derrick Brown.
