Baldwin QB Kamden Patterson Among Top Performers in Week 6 of 2026 Georgia High School Football Season

Here are ITG Next’s top 10 performers from Week 6 of the 2026 Georgia high school football season.

Top Offensive Performances

Baldwin quarterback and safety Kamden Patterson, a junior, had one of the best two-way performances of the season last week against Westside. Patterson completed 26-of-28 passes for 558 yards and six touchdowns. On defense, he had four tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, and an interception.

Thomas County Central quarterback Aidan McPherson, a senior, scored six rushing touchdowns and added another on a touchdown pass for a seven-touchdown performance to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 49-26 win over Lee County.

Valdosta running back Deron Foster had 19 carries for 171 rushing yards and five first-half touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 58-21 win over Stockbridge.

Rockmart wide receiver Gavin Green had two receiving touchdowns, a 95-yard punt return for a touchdown, an interception, a 2-point conversion pass, and a 2-point conversion reception in the first half against Union County. Green now has three punts returned for touchdowns in his past four games.

Cedartown running back Rohan Kent, a senior, had 32 carries for 229 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs to a 43-41 win over previously undefeated Dalton. Kent also had five tackles and a pass breakup on defense.

Thomasville quarterback Christian Hayes had 14 carries for 159 yards and two rushing touchdowns while completing 6-of-9 passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 56-21 win over Berrien.

Top Defensive Performances

Buford linebacker Beck Brosius battled back from injuries to contribute on both sides of the ball for the Wolves. He had a rushing touchdown and a tackle for loss this past week, giving him 25 tackles this season, including seven tackles for loss, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, two quarterback hurries, and two sacks.

Milton linebacker Blaize Battaglia had 25 tackles in the Eagles’ games against Battle Ground Academy and Blessed Trinity, including four tackles for loss, three sacks, and one quarterback hurry. For the season, the Boston College commit has 47 tackles and six quarterback hurries.

Tift County defensive back Tyler Merrill had 14 tackles, including two tackles for loss, and returned an interception 17 yards in the Blue Devils’ game against Coffee.

Top Special Teams Performances

Mill Creek punter Carter Jackson averaged 45.3 yards per punt on four punts, with three downed inside the 20-yard line. He also was 5-for-5 on extra-point attempts.
