Austin Wood Leads Georgia in Interceptions

Two three-interception games against Lanier and Central Gwinnett helped Wood overtake previous leaders late in the season. Wood’s game against Lanier was by far his best performance of the 2020 season, as he defended two passes and caused a fumble to add to the three clutch interceptions. Wood was named Co-Defensive Player of the Month by BLITZ Sports for November. He doesn’t have any stars to his profile, but has been a key player for the Raiders all season long.
