Yet another intriguing Alabama high school football Class 6A region to watch for going into the 2022 season comes from Region 2. A region that could look a little different next season compared to previous years, which team will win Class 6A-Region 2 in 2022?
The arguable headliner in Class 6A-Region 2 entering next season you could certainly argue is defending 5A state champion Pike Road, who reclassified during the offseason alongside Wetumpka who comes from 6A-Region 3. In addition to Pike Road, Carver-Montgomery will also return notable talent on defense with two of the state’s top prospects in James Smith and Qua Russaw, as well as Russell County also coming off a strong 2021 season.
