AHSAA Class 2A Elite 8 Preseason Predictions
We make our predictions for who will make it to the Elite Eight in AHSAA Class 2A.
The brackets this coming season could look very similar to the playoffs in 2020. In fact, seven of these eight teams were in the final eight a year ago.
Defending 2A state champion Mars Hill Bible should be one of the top teams in 2A next season after dominating the competition in the playoffs, while multiple other top teams will be talented once again. The one team in the quarterfinals predicted to make it that wasn’t there a year ago is Geneva County led by five-star running back Emmanuel Henderson.
If these predictions come true, we would see three highly anticipated 2A playoff rematches in 2021: Leroy vs. Lanett, Spring Garden vs. North Sand Mountain, and Aliceville vs. Mars Hill Bible.
