On Dec. 15, 2015, In the Game Sports Network gathered the greatest football talents across South Georgia into one room in order to recognize and honor the players and teams responsible for an unforgettable 2015 season. Schools from across the region united to remind us what this great sport is all about: the development of young student-athletes into better men and members of society.
Over the course of the night, each of the twenty schools in attendance honored their selections for Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year. In addition, ITG Sports Network and its sponsorship partners crowned the top players and coaches from the area in seven categories.
Pictured is Colquitt County quarterback Chase Parrish, the 2015 Co-Offensive Player of the Year. During his 2015 season, he completed 237 of 343 passing attempts (.691 completion percentage) for 40 touchdowns against a mere six interceptions. He also rushed for 362 yards on 51 attempts while playing an integral role in leading the Packers to their second consecutive 15-0 season and GHSA Class AAAAAA State Championship. Parrish will be attending the prestigious U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland in the fall.
