Lowndes tennis standout Davis Stewart was the cover athlete for the April edition of In the Game. Ranked in the top 10 players in the state, his talents have not gone unnoticed. Specifically, his hard work has been rewarded with the opportunity to continue his athletic career as a member of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.
His Signing Day was a special one for him; in addition to the coaches, fans, and friends that were able to watch him sign, the presence of two individuals in particular made his moment memorable. After enduring the divorce of his parents at the age of 16, Davis was blessed to have both of his parents in attendance for his unforgettable occasion.
