Following are our Georgia high school Week 12 Top Performers, those individual standouts who shined on offense, defense and/or special teams.
Tip Top Performer
Frederica running back Jordan Triplett, leading all Georgia high school Week 12 Top Performers with 29 carries for 298 yards and 6 TDs, plus a 2-point conversion. The previous week Triplett rushed 40 times for 404 yards and 7 TDs. For the year, the senior has 352 carries for 2,497 yards rushing and 34 TDs, and in his career, Jordan has 8,353 rushing yards with 118 TDs.
Offense
- Bowdon QB Kyler McGrinn ran for 4 TDs and passed for 3 more against Mt Zion.
- Rome QB Reece Fountain needed just over a quarter of play to be included among our Georgia high school Week 12 Top Performers – he completed 9-of-12 passes for 239 yards and 4 TDs against Etowah.
- Rome WR DK Daniel had 3 receptions for 136 yards, and all 3 went for TDs.
- Lanier County QB Drake Wolford had 177 yards passing, 77 yards rushing, and 5 touchdowns in his team’s 32-28 come-from-behind win over Charlton County.
- McEachern QB Jaydon Kinney was 9-for-13 passing for 258 yards and 3 TDs in a 38-0 win over Hillgrove.
- Collins Hill RB Cedric “Chase” Nash had 3 carries for 46 yards with 1 TD, plus 4 receptions for 25 yards.
- Colquitt County RB Day’Shawn Brown had 5 carries for 127 yards and 3 TDs.
- Lee County RB Devin Collier had 4 carries for 53 yards and 2 TDs, and he threw a 23-yard TD pass.
Defense
- Colquitt County DL Amari Wilson had 12 tackles, including a TFL and 2 QB hurries.
- McEachern DB Dy’Lon Womack had a 65-yard INT return for a TD in the Indians’ win over Hillgrove.
- Richmond Hill LB Gabe Bauman had 10 tackles against Colquitt County.
- Colquitt County OLB Chance Sims had 12 tackles, including a sack and 2 QB hurries.
- Collins Hill’s Nick Igbeare had 7 tackles, 3 sacks, 5 TFL, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
- Colquitt County LB Nick Pace had 12 tackles against Richmond Hill.
- Lee County ATH Devin Collier had 11 tackles, including 1 sack.
Special Teams
- Warner Robins ATH Khalil Quinn had a 65-yard punt return for a TD in the Demons’ win over Locust Grove.
- Greenbrier K Keegan Morgan kicked the game-winning 43-yard FG as time expired against Bradwell Institute.
- Roswell K Brent Gonda was 7-for-7 on PATs and was 1-for-1 on FG attempts with a 31-yarder.
- KR Noah Matthews of Adairsville returned a second-quarter kick 75 yards for a TD.
- Collins Hill K Phillip Bonnacci was 1-for-1 on FG attempts (27 yards) and 4-for-4 on PATs, and he made a tackle on a kickoff return.
- Richmond Hill K Blake Williams connected on a 46-yard FG attempt.
- Cook K Brooks Moore was 1-for-1 on FG attempts (33 yards) and 4-for-4 on PATs, and he had 2 punts for 50 yards and 42 yards.
