Rome’s Fountain Headlines Georgia High School Week 10 Highlights

Following are our Georgia high school Week 10 Top Performers and their highlights on offense, defense and/or special teams.

Tip Top Performer

Leading off our Georgia high school Week 10 highlights is Rome quarterback Reece Fountain, who completed 16-of-22 passes for 317 yards and 6 touchdowns to lead the Wolves to a 55-0 win over River Ridge.

Offense

  • Kell QB Bryce Clavon had 11 carries for 118 yards rushing, including an 86-yard TD run. Clavon also completed 10-of-17 pass attempts for 170 yards and 2 passing scores to lead the Longhorns to a win over Greater Atlanta Christian.
  • Cook RB Keshun McKever had 40 carries for 220 yards and a touchdown to pace Cook to a 27-7 win over Dodge.
  • Greater Atlanta Christian RB GL Tiberia had 20 carries for 157 yards and 2 TDs against Kell.
  • Jasper County WR/DB Josiah Cotterell had 2 catches for 135 yards, with both receptions going for TDs. He also made 7 tackles from his safety position.
  • Lee County RB Ousmane Kromah had 135 yards combined rushing and receiving, including a 75-yard TD catch.
  • Benedictine RB Nasier Samuel had 19 carries for 100 yards and 1 TD against Wayne County.
  • Cedar Grove RB and UGA commit Bo Walker rushed 14 times for 85 yards to lead the Saints to an impressive win over Sandy Creek.
  • Cedar Grove QB EJ Colson completed 12-of-19 passes for 232 yards and 1 TD.
  • Cedar Grove WR Devin Carter caught 5 passes for 108 yards receiving, including a 52-yard TD catch.

Defense and Special Teams

  • Lee County’s LeRoy Jackson had 6 tackles, including 2 TFL. He also blocked a FG and returned it for a TD.
  • Callaway safety D’Arcy Harris had 5 tackles and 2 INT, one of which her returned for a TD.
  • Callaway safety Johnathan Freeman also had a night full of Georgia high school week 10 highlights, with 6 tackles, including 1 TFL, and 2 INT. Like his fellow DB mate Harris, he returned one of his picks for a touchdown.
  • Benedictine DL Cameron Cody had 9 tackles including 1 TFL, against Wayne County in the Cadets’ win.
  • Benedictine’s Luke Kromenhoek played safety for the Cadets at Wayne County and came away with 3 tackles in addition to his QB duties.
  • Cedar Grove’s Lakhi Roland had 2 INT against Sandy Creek.
  • South Gwinnett KR Xavier Butler had an 85-yard kick return for a TD.
  • Colquitt County LB Kenyon Solomon had 11 tackles, including 3 TFL, for the Packers against Lowndes.
  • Colquitt County K Brett Fitzgerald was a perfect 7-for-7 on PATs and 1-for-1 on FG attempts, converting a 23-yarder against Lowndes. Fitzgerald also had 8 touchbacks on 8 kickoffs.
  • Archer freshman Andrew Rogers kicked a 36-yard FG to in his team’s 22-19 win over South Gwinnett.
