Over the past four seasons, Pierce County High School has been among the most improved girls soccer programs in Class 3A. The Lady Bears have posted respective season totals of 13, 14, 17, and 18 wins, culminating this season with a region title and an Elite Eight berth. Mirroring that ascension has been the team’s right back, Emily Thrift. The daughter of Rodney and Renee Thrift, she was named Most Improved Player for the Lady Bears as a junior and served as a leader during her senior season of 2018.
