Composite Poll: Top 25 Florida High School Football Teams in Classes 4A, 5A, 6A, 7A

We have a new No. 1 team as Class 5A’s St. Thomas Aquinas takes over the top spot from Class 4A’s American Heritage in our updated 2024 Florida high school football composite Top 25 rankings for Classes 4A-7A.
Four other teams also move up the rankings one place each: Class 5A’s Edgewater and Manatee, Class 6A’s Armwood, and Class 7A’s Lake Mary.
Class 7A’s Apopka and Miami Palmetto and Class 6A’s Nease and Monarch all move down one place each.

St. Thomas Aquinas stays at No. 2 after dominating McArthur 56-0, Venice climbs to No. 3 after a thrilling 54-51 win over Cocoa, and Lakeland strengthens its position following a 48-13 victory against Booker T. Washington (Miami).
Teams like Miami Columbus, Apopka, and Edgewater continue their consistent forms, while Jones and Armwood rise after strong performances.
Mandarin drops 22 places after a tough loss to IMG Academy.
