We have a new No. 1 team sitting atop the state to conclude our 2024 Alabama high school baseball Top 25 rankings in the Bob Jones Patriots, who recently claimed the Class 7A state title.
The remaining 2024 state champions are Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa (No. 3) in Class 6A, Alexandria (No. 7) in Class 5A, Corner (No. 14) in Class 4A, Thomasville (No. 18) in Class 3A, Ariton (No. 20) in Class 2A, Sumiton Christian (No. 22) in Class 1A, Glenwood (No. 23) in AISA Class 3A, Lakeside (unranked) in AISA Class 2A, and Lowndes (unranked) in AISA Class 1A.

The second-to-last update this season of our consensus Alabama high school baseball Top 25 rankings sees seven teams enter the mix ahead of the state finals in the AHSAA, including Alexandria and American Christian.
The state championship matchups set to take place later this week are as follows:
Central-Phenix City versus Bob Jones in Class 7A, Hartselle versus Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa in Class 6A, Mobile Christian versus Alexandria in Class 5A, American Christian versus Corner in Class 4A, Thomasville versus Westbrook Christian in Class 3A, Ariton versus Mars Hill Bible in Class 2A, and Sweet Water versus Sumiton Christian in Class 1A.

As we approach the conclusion of the regular season, four new teams enter our consensus Top 25 Alabama high school baseball rankings in Class 7A’s Hoover and Fairhope, Class 1A’s Millry, and Class 5A’s Marbury. Those teams are ranked at Nos. 20, 21, 24, and 25, respectively.
Several teams saw notable rises up the rankings this week, with Baker and Vincent among the biggest movers, each up six spots to Nos. 18 and 19, respectively.

Holding the No. 1 spot is Class 7A’s Central-Phenix City, who owns wins over notable teams such as Bob Jones, Helena, and multiple out-of-state programs so far this season. Class 7A also sees the most programs ranked this week, as 13 from the classification headline the Top 25.
