The 2024 Florida high school baseball season has now officially come to a close, meaning that our consensus Top 25 rankings now receive their final update of the year.

Three new state champions have been crowned since our previous update, and all seven state champions end the season ranked: Stoneman Douglas (No. 1) in Class 7A, Dwyer (No. 12) in Class 6A, Jesuit (No. 6) in Class 5A, Cardinal Gibbons (No. 8) in Class 4A, North Broward Prep (No. 2) in Class 3A, St. Johns Country Day (No. 4) in Class 2A, and Jay (No. 22) in Class 1A. 

One new team enters the Top 25 in Class 4A’s South Walton at No. 20.

Four Florida high school baseball state champions have officially been crowned, and each is featured in our Top 25 rankings this week: Stoneman Douglas (No.1) in Class 7A, Dwyer (No. 13) in Class 6A, Jesuit (No. 8) in Class 5A, and Jay (No. 22) in Class 1A.  

State champions for the remaining classifications will be decided later this week, after which we will release our final rankings for the season.

In what is the final update of our 2024 Florida high school football rankings prior to the start of the regional playoffs, two new teams enter the Top 25 in Class 7A’s West Broward and Class 2A’s Miami Christian. The Bobcats, who make their return to the Top 25, are the highest-ranked of the two at No. 23 overall, while Miami Christian sits at No. 25.

As we approach the end of the Florida high school baseball 2024 regular season, this week’s update of our consensus Top 25 rankings sees a noteworthy amount of movement across the board, headlined by rises from teams such as Neumann, Pensacola Catholic, and Westminster Christian. 

Three new teams enter the rankings in Class 2A’s Lakeland Christian, Class 1A’s Bozeman, and Class 4A’s McKeel Academy, who sit at Nos. 20, 24, and 25, respectively.

Combining all classifications, our rankings have IMG Academy in the No. 1 spot, as the Ascenders sit at 10-1 with their lone loss having come to an out-of-state team. 

Classes 7A and 3A tie for the classification with the most teams ranked with six each.
