2022 Georgia High School Football: Top Performances, Week 4

Each week ITG Next recognizes players who have the biggest impacts on a game and inspire the teammates they share the field with. These are the players who give it their all and leave nothing on the field when the clock reads 0:00. Following are the top performances from Week 4 of the 2022 Georgia high school football season.

Offense

Dublin running back Demari Foster had one of the most spectacular performances of Week 4 – and all of the 2022 Georgia high school season to date, for that matter – with 16 carries for 362 yards and 4 touchdowns to lead the Irish offense in a 41-21 victory over ECI.

Bacon County running back Travion Richardson set a school record with a 94-yard touchdown run to lead his team to a 28-14 win over Atkinson County, helping the Red Raiders snap a 14-game losing streak.

Osborne running back Khalif Walters had a night to remember with 13 carries for 124 yards and 4 TDs and 5 catches for 165 yards. This was all in just one half of football as the Cardinals routed Lakeside-DeKalb 55-0.

West Forsyth running back Peyton Streko rushed for 5 TDs and over 350 yards to lead his team to a 42-35 win over Cambridge.

Northeast Macon DT Carlton Jackson collected 13 tackles, 4 TFL, and 3 sacks to help lead his team to a 26-8 upset win over Carver-Columbus.

Special Teams

Colquitt County safety Jack “White Lightning” Luttrell enjoyed a truly special Week 4 performance in his team’s 2022 Georgia high school showdown with Lee County – he outran the Trojans’ special teams defense for an 80-yard TD on a fake punt to help his Packers win 48-27.

Luttrell’s teammate Brett Fitzgerald was perfect all night at kicker, going 3-for-3 on PATs and 2-for-2 on FGs of 30 and 44 yards.
