Midseason chaos has turned Region 5 in Class 6A into a tight race for first in Georgia football. Five teams in the region have the same region record with only a few weeks left of the regular football season. Only four of those teams can clinch a playoff berth, and the road seems to be the toughest for Alexander, who must play Rome, Carrollton, and South Paulding in their last three games. Will there be any more upsets to make the playoff race more interesting? And who will ultimately be crowned region champions?
