Trojans Look to Interrupt Perfection
Camden County Wildcats (8-0, 3-0) vs. Lee County Trojans (6-2, 1-2)
Friday, October 30, 2015

Venue
Trojan Field
Leesburg, Ga.
Two of the top three teams in Region 1-AAAAAA will take the field on Friday night as the Lee County Trojans play host to the undefeated Camden County Wildcats in Leesburg.
While every team in the region had a bye last week, the Trojans’ most recent contest was a heartbreaking 42-7 loss to the Lowndes Vikings on October 16. Lee County was unable to find the positive side of their third down opportunities (going 0-11 on conversion attempts).
The loss is their second, after falling the week before to Colquitt County 54-17. And with a current record of 1-2 in the region, they are in heavy contention with Valdosta and Lowndes for one of the final two playoff spots (as all three teams currently share the same region record).
The Wildcats come into the contest on a roll; they have yet to lose a game and are tied with the Packers for the region lead. Their last game was 10-point victory over Tift County, and a win over the Trojans on Friday would set up a potential meeting of two undefeated teams (Camden and Colquitt) in the season finale for the region title.
Camden is aiming for perfection. Lee County is fighting to stay alive in the hunt for the postseason. On Friday night, we will look forward to seeing whose mission is accomplished.
