Veterans boys basketball is the only undefeated team remaining in the top 40 statewide. They have coasted to many blowout wins, including a 47-point win over Perry and a 42-point victory against Ware County. Junior T.J. Grant has stepped up for the Warhawks, leading the team in both scoring and rebounding. Other players have pitched in as well, including DeAngelo Hines, Tahj Williams, and Aaron Jones. The Warhawks are set on a deep playoff run in a 5A classification that features state powers Eagle’s Landing and St. Pius X, along with a Tri-Cities team that has been hot recently.
