Two 1A Private Lacrosse Teams Defeat 6A-7A Teams

Sometimes, classification doesn’t matter. It has been seen in football, but is more prevalent in lacrosse. Such was the case last week, as the boys’ teams for Holy Innocents’ Episcopal and North Cobb Christian, both 1A Private lacrosse teams, won by one goal against 6A-7A teams.

This was a historic win for North Cobb Christian, as it marked their first victory over a 6A-7A team this season.

HIES has had more experience with these types of wins, as it defeated Dalton and Wheeler by a combined score of 37-1 in the same week earlier this year.
