Twice Is Always Nice: Porter Hill Wins Two State Championships Back to Back

Porter Hill felt good when he won his state championship in 2018. But his senior year, the journey made the victory more triumphant.

Running for Deerfield-Windsor, Hill dominated his junior season, en route to an individual state championship in which he set the school record. In 2019, he broke it, winning his second straight championship at the GISA level. If you would have told him in the middle of his senior season that he would do this, he probably would not have believed you.
