Top Returning Florida RBs: Richard Young and More

Top Returning Florida RBs

It is no secret that the state of Florida has become a pipeline to college for some of the top high school football players in the country in recent years. This year is no different from the rest as the top returning Florida RBs will be among some of the best in the country.

Highlighting this group is rising junior and 5-star prospect Richard Young from Lehigh Senior, who is regarded as the No. 1 RB in the Class of 2023. Young has rushed for over 1,800 yards and 14 TDs over the past two seasons.

A few other notables include seven juniors among the top 10 and IMG Academy’s Kaytron Allen, who is the top returning senior. Edgewater’s Cedric Baxter Jr. and Norland’s Javin Simpkins are the lone committed players, with Baxter committed to Florida State and Simpkins committed to Georgia Tech.
