A few weeks back, we here at ITG Next took a look at the top 2025 recruits from across Florida high school basketball, which featured a few of the top players at their positions on a national level. Let’s continue that today by looking at the next cycle, 2026, and list the Top 5 Florida high school basketball recruits in that class. (NOTE: Recruit rankings are according to 247Sports Composite.)
5. Christopher Washington Jr., SF – The Villages Charter
We begin with Christopher Washington, who is considered the nation’s No. 29 overall prospect and No. 10 small forward.
The highly-rated four-star recruit helped lead The Villages Charter to the Class 4A state semifinals as a sophomore, averaging 15.8 points per game, 7.6 rebounds per game, and 1.6 blocks per game.
4. Jaxon Richardson, SF – Miami Columbus
Jaxon Richardson, a five-star prospect, currently ranks as the nation’s No. 25 overall prospect and No. 8 small forward.
The sophomore averaged 6.6 points per game and 3.4 rebounds per game this past season for a loaded Miami Columbus team that won the Class 7A state title.
3. Kayden Allen, SF – Montverde Academy
Montverde Academy lands two prospects within the top five of this list, the first of which is Kayden Allen, the nation’s No. 12 overall prospect No. 5 small forward.
A five-star recruit, Allen averaged 3.9 points per game and 1.5 rebounds per game in the 2023-24 season as a sophomore.
2. Caleb Gaskins, PF – Montverde Academy
Florida sports two players in the Top 10 nationally for the 2026 cycle, the first of which is the Montverde Academy prospect that ranks as the No. 7 overall player and No. 2 power forward in the nation.
As a sophomore, Gaskins, a five-star prospect, averaged 4.1 points per game and 2.4 rebounds per game for a Montverde Academy team that finished the season undefeated at 34-0.
1. Alexander Constanza, SF – Westminster Academy
Florida high school basketball’s top 2026 recruit is Alexander Constanza out of Westminster Academy. Constanza is considered the No. 6 overall player and No. 3 small forward nationally.
As a sophomore, the five-star recruit lead the Lions to a 23-6 record with a Class 3A regional finals appearance by averaging a team-high 20.9 points per game, 9.7 rebounds per game, 4.9 assists per game, and 1.8 blocks per game across 29 games.
