With the 2021 high school baseball season now in full swing, a few teams have emerged as some of the best in the country. These are the current top 5 baseball teams in the country, according to MaxPreps.

Calvary Christian takes over as the top team in the nation after a 7-0 start to the season, which includes wins over teams all over the southeast.

No. 2 Buford and No. 3 Barbe are also among the lone undefeated teams in the top five, while No. 5 IMG Academy is 9-1.

No. 4 Hamilton has yet to play a game this season, with its season opener within the next week.
