Thompson QB Conner Harrell Wins 7A Back of the Year

Thompson QB Conner Harrell has been named the 2020 7A Back of the Year, becoming the third straight Thompson QB to do so. He joins former Warrior QBs Taulia Tagovailoa in 2017 and 2018 and Sawyer Pate in 2019.

Thompson won its second consecutive 7A state championship in 2020 with Harrell leading the Warriors’ high-powered offense. Harrell had a phenomenal junior season, where he completed 226 of 309 passes for 3,516 yards and 42 TDs while only throwing 3 INTs. Harrell also ran for 292 yards and 6 TDs, accounting for 48 total TDs.

Harrell will return next season for the Warriors looking to become a back-to-back winner.
