Thomasville QB Cam Hill Among Top Performers in Week 6 of 2025 Georgia High School Football Season

Here are our Top 10 performers from Week 6 of the 2025 Georgia high school football season.

Top Offensive Performances

Thomasville quarterback Cam Hill broke the school record for touchdown passes with his 63rd career touchdown pass, which was caught by his brother AJ Hill on his second touchdown throw of the game versus Bacon County. He completed 9-of-16 passes for 190 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed six times for 47 yards and one touchdown in the game.  

Landmark Christian’s Skylar Hamilton had 280 yards passing with three touchdowns while rushing for 112 yards and two rushing touchdowns to lead his team to a 35-7 win over Lake Oconee Academy, keeping the War Eagles undefeated on the season with a 5-0 record.

Peachtree Ridge quarterback Rayshaun Parks completed 15-of-20 passes for 179 yards and one touchdown and rushed 13 times for 126 yards and one touchdown to lead the Lions to a 24-22 win over Norcross.  

Whitefield Academy running back Mason Hollingsworth set a Cobb County rushing yards record with 426 yards rushing on 26 carries and four touchdowns against St. Anne Pacelli in the Wolfpack’s 63-24 win.  

Top Defensive Performances 

Worth County senior linebacker Chance Sims had 14 tackles, including two tackles for loss, and one interception to lead the Rams’ defensive effort in their win over Fitzgerald. 

Gainesville linebacker Darryn “Boom” Williams made eight tackles, including two tackles for loss, and had two interceptions to lead the Red Elephants’ defensive effort against Lanier.

Collins Hill defensive back Stephen Barjolo led the Eagles’ defensive effort in their 30-0 shutout win over Central Gwinnett with seven tackles, including two tackles for loss; one pass breakup; one quarterback sack; two fumble recoveries; and one touchdown from a blocked punt.

Schley County defensive back Antavian Hill had three interceptions, including a pick-six, and had one punt return for 51 yards to help lead the Wildcats to a 28-21 win over Crawford County.

Top Special Team Performances

LaGrange High School sophomore Cooper Metcalf kicked a 48-yard field goal and a 26-yard field goal, was a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points, and put 4-of-7 kickoffs into the end zone for a touchback. Metcalf also was called on to punt in place of the injured starting punter, and he averaged 34 yards on three punts with the longest being 46 yards.

Jeff Davis kicker Fabian Valdelamar kicked a school-record 52-yard field goal at the end of the first half in the Yellow Jackets’ 31-0 win over Brantley County. Jeff Davis is now 4-0 on the year.
