The Top 10 Returning LBs
One of the premier positions on the football field is linebacker. Not only do you need someone who is capable of playing multiple roles on the field, but also someone who can lead the defense. While there are a few worthy candidates, the No. 1 returning linebacker in high school football next season goes to Cy Park’s Harold Perkins. Perkins is rated as a 5-star recruit in the Class of 2021, as well as the No. 1 OLB in the country according to 247Sports. Perkins finished the 2020 season with 47 tackles, 14.5 TFL, three sacks, six PBU, and three FF, while also playing multiple roles on the offensive side of the ball as well. Perkins was selected as 16-6A First-Team All-District as both a RB and LB during the 2020 season.
