Swim On: Jacksonville Swimmer Announces Commitment

Julian Smith out of Jacksonville made his college decision ahead of his graduation in the coming months.

The senior from Episcopal made the decision to continue his competitive swimming career as a Gator with the University of Florida.

Smith is a five-time FHSAA 1A Region 1 finalist and a two-time champion in the region.

In 2020, he won the FHSAA State Championship for the sport.

During his time at Episcopal, Smith has broken four different records set before he arrived at the school.

He is also ranked the No. 16 swimmer in Florida High School. 

Only going an hour and a half away from home, Smith will look to build up his Gator legacy as much as he did for the Eagles.
