Tim Tebow is giving all he has to the St. Lucie Mets.
Since being promoted to the Mets of the Florida State League, the former NFL star is on an 8-game hitting streak. As of Monday, Tebow has hit in 11 of his 13 games, and has made one hit in each of his past eight games. The athlete’s former record was only a 5-game-hitting streak. But Tebow isn’t only bringing his A game; he’s also bring the fans. On July 3, Fort Myers set a franchise record by drawing in 9,478 fans. One might think it was only due to it being a holiday weekend, however there was an increase in over 1000 fans from the previous year. Time will only tell how the Heinemann Trophy winner will continue to improve and impress throughout the season.
