You can’t begin to talk about football in Jacksonville without talking about Sandalwood High School. The Saints have been synonymous with winning for decades.
Head Coach Adam Geis has created a solid football program at Sandalwood. They have been a constant playoff contender since he took the helm in 2010. Since then they have boasted a plethora of division one recruits as well as a second-round NFL draftee in Demarcus Walker.
Last season, Sandalwood lost only one game in the regular season before losing in the first round of the playoffs to Seminole, who almost went all the way.
With the talent that Sandalwood consistently produces, this season should shape up to be yet another success for them. They have plenty of winnable games on their schedule, and should find it easy to make another playoff berth.
We hope that the Saints can make it into the playoffs again and this time produce the type of results that their talented team is capable of.
