Coach Rush Propst Clarifies Future Plans; Not Joining Plainview Coaching Staff

In response to inaccurate reports circulating on social media, Coach Rush Propst wishes to clarify that he has not accepted a position with the Plainview High School football program and will not be coaching high school football during the upcoming season.
After decades of coaching and building championship programs, Propst has elected to take a one-year hiatus from the sidelines to focus on several professional ventures centered around player development, football education, and sports media.
During this period, Coach Propst will devote his time to:
- Legacy One Performance – Providing elite quarterback instruction, offensive skill development, football IQ training, leadership development, private coaching, camps, and clinics for quarterbacks and offensive athletes.
- RPO Media – Launching a football media platform featuring podcasts, coaching analysis, interviews, and behind-the-scenes stories from one of the most successful careers in high school football.
- “Win the Room” Podcast – A weekly show discussing leadership, championship culture, quarterback play, recruiting, and lessons learned throughout his coaching career, including stories from Two-A-Days and many of the championship programs he has led.
- Coaching Consulting Services – Working with high school coaches and programs across the country on offensive game planning, quarterback development, practice organization, film study, opponent scouting, staff development, and program leadership.
Coach Propst released the following statement: “I appreciate everyone’s interest and support over the years, but I want to set the record straight. I have not accepted a coaching position at Plainview or any other school. I’ve decided to step away from the sidelines for a year to focus on mentoring quarterbacks, consulting with coaches, and launching RPO Media. This is an opportunity to share what I’ve learned over more than four decades in coaching, while helping develop the next generation of players and coaches. Football has always been my passion, and this allows me to continue making an impact in a different way.”
Coach Propst added that while he is taking a break from full-time coaching, he remains committed to the game through quarterback instruction, coaching education, media, and consulting. Future announcements regarding Legacy One Performance, RPO Media, and the launch of the Win the Room podcast will be made in the coming weeks.
