River Ridge Football Loaded for 2021 Season

“Unexpected” may be an understatement when describing the 2020 season for River Ridge football. After winning only 11 games from 2016 to 2019, the Knights went undefeated in the 2020 regular season and lost to Lee County in the quarterfinals. Credit goes to RB Amehre Morrison, who carried the ball for 1,958 yards and 29 touchdowns, leading River Ridge in offensive production. The Knights are loaded with talent from the Class of 2022, so they may very well repeat as region champions with an undefeated record. River Ridge may ultimately turn the unexpected 2020 season into a future expectation of success.
