Congrats to the Plant girls basketball team on winning the FHSAA Class 7A state championship this weekend. Plant’s head coach is former Culver-Stockton College women’s basketball player (Class of 1993) and head coach Carrie Connell Mahon. Mahon, with the help of forward Kendal Cheesman, lead Plant to a 26-3 record while going 5-0 in district play.
