Former Clay High School swimmer Caeleb Dressel is definitely someone to watch out for at the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Games. The University of Florida swimmer qualified for seven events for the World Championships, which will be July 23-30 in Budapest, Hungary. One event being the 100-meter butterfly which he won after finishing in 50.87 seconds. The swimmer already knows what he needs to work on going into the World Championships in July. He told Swim Swam reporter James Sutherland, “I just need to work on my last 25M in the next few weeks.” Dressel also told the reporter, his secret is to focus “on one race at a time,” and what helps him is “moving along and going with the flow. ” I think this could be useful advice to anyone. We look forward to seeing what Dressel does in Budapest and hopefully the 2020 Olympics.
