2014 Accomplishments: 3A State Champion 100 fly (49.43) and runner up 100 back (51.34) St. Johns County Swimmer of the Year
It took over 80 years for St. Augustine High to claim another individual swimming title, but Nicholas Loomis etched his name in the St. Johns county swimming history books by becoming just the 4th swimmer from the county to claim an individual state title. Fueled by his passion for swimming and never give up attitude, the senior swimmer will continue his swimming at Indian River State College, a program that owns the longest championship win streak of any college sport at the collegiate level with 40 straight.
