Milton Panthers

Friday nights in the fall for the city of Milton are big events. The whole community gathers at Haywood Hanna Stadium to support their Panthers. Coach Marsh and this year’s team are ready to give them something to cheer about. Turning in a winning season last year and barely missing out on the playoffs, this team is poised to take the next step.

Offense will be the strength for Milton this year with returning Quarterback Aubrey Williams (1576 yds. Passing) Center Cody Harris anchoring the middle of the line, and Recievers Marquise McRoy and Cameron Shelton. The Panthers plan on building their play calling around these players to maximize their assets.

The challenge will be to find 11 players to step up and gel on defense. With very little experience, the Panthers will have to prepare week by week until this younger bunch comes together. Fortunately, as Coach Marsh relates “we have developed a team unity of all for each other.” He has a group of eager players ready for the challenge.

The 2016 Milton High Panthers plan on building on last year’s success and going the next step of returning to the playoffs. Also they plan to live up to the history and tradition of Milton football.
