After a strong March, Locust Fork High School baseball player Landon Keith has been voted the ITG Next Alabama Male Athlete of the Month for April 2024 by receiving 69.06% of the possible votes over a list of three additional finalists.
Those other finalists, which came across two different sports, were Southside-Gadsden soccer player Camren Thompson, Parker baseball player Christian Dooley, and Gulf Shores baseball player Connor Gehr.

On the mound, Keith made two appearances when he allowed a combined three earned runs over six innings pitched. Keith also held a 1-0 record as a pitcher, as well as a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 12-to-5.
For a Locust Fork team that sits at 14-13 overall, Keith has slashed .618/.732/1.191 across 23 games for the season so far, along with owning five home runs, 33 RBIs, and 16 bases stolen. Keith also has 10 doubles and seven triples and has drawn 18 walks compared to 10 strikeouts.
