Kelly, Durham Among Top Performers in Week 3 of 2024 Florida High School Football Season

After a slate of games headlined by several matchups between in-state powers, here is a look at some of the top individual performers from Week 3 of the 2024 Florida high school football season.

Tristan Kelly, Defensive End – Impact Christian Lions

Tristan Kelly had arguably the state’s top defensive performance in Impact Christian’s 37-0 victory over Wolfson. The senior compiled 16 tackles, five tackles for loss, five sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries, one of which was returned for a touchdown.

Jordan Durham, Quarterback – Zarephath Academy Eagles

Jordan Durham completed 21-of-35 passes for 378 yards and four touchdowns in the Eagles’ 54-0 shutout victory over Hollis Christian. The senior also rushed for a season-high 103 yards on six attempts.

Michael McClenton, Linebacker – Ocoee Knights

Michael McClenton had 25 tackles, six tackles for loss, and three sacks defensively in Ocoee’s 30-6 win against Lake Nona. McClenton also rushed for 18 yards on one attempt.

Jackson Stecher, Quarterback – Master’s Academy Eagles

Jackson Stecher completed 10-of-13 passes for 213 yards and five touchdowns in the Eagles’ 57-20 win over Oak Hall.

Arthur Lewis IV, Running Back – Bartram Trail Bears

Arthur Lewis IV rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns on 15 attempts in Bartram Trail’s 43-42 win over Ware County (Georgia). The junior also had two receptions for 9 yards.

Derrick Ferguson, Athlete – Miami Southwest Eagles

Derrick Ferguson rushed for 249 yards and two touchdowns on 17 attempts in Miami Southwest’s 44-6 victory over South Miami. Defensively, Ferguson also had two tackles.

Jack Cunningham, Quarterback – Jefferson Dragons

Jack Cunningham completed 14-of-22 passes for 346 yards and three touchdowns in Jefferson’s 41-7 victory over George Jenkins.

DeAndre Caldwell, Wide Receiver – Bartram Trail Bears

DeAndre Caldwell had six receptions for 200 yards and a touchdown in Bartram Trail’s 43-42 victory over Ware County (Georgia).

Shawn Simeon, Running Back – Naples Golden Eagles

Shawn Simeon, a three-star Toledo commit, rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns on nine attempts in Naples’ 47-0 win over Immokalee. The senior also had one reception for 16 yards.

Brice Robinson, Linebacker – Strawberry Crest Chargers

Brice Robinson compiled 16 tackles, one tackle for loss, and ½ sack in Strawberry Crest’s 25-0 shutout win over Brandon.
