Hewitt-Trussville Softball Dominating the Season
The Hewitt-Trussville softball team is dominating the competition so far. The Huskies have an overall record of 31-2-1, with the only losses coming to Helena and region foe Spain Park. The team has scored 10 or more runs in 18 games.
Leading the way are seniors Anyce Harvey with a batting average of .589 (minimum 34 ABs,) and Jenna Lord with seven home runs.
In terms of Class 7A Region 6 rankings, the team is currently ranked No. 2 behind Spain Park according to MaxPreps.
Can the Huskies overtake the Jaguars for the No. 1 spot as the season continues?
