GHSA Class 2A Predictions: The Elite 8
We make our predictions for who will make it to the Elite Eight in GHSA Class 2A.
It’s another championship rematch in the quarterfinals! Callaway beat undefeated Fitzgerald in 2020 to clinch their first ever state title, but the Purple Hurricane will be back for revenge in 2021. They may get a shot to avenge the loss by defeating Callaway in the quarterfinals, depending on how the official bracket is set up.
Fitzgerald has only won one state championship back in 1948, and 13 wins just last year sets a very solid foundation for future seasons. Callaway, on the other hand, will look for back-to-back titles, a landmark in their program history.
