The state of Georgia once again rears its head in national rankings, this time for soccer. Dalton (6A) and Starr’s Mill (5A) have dominated on the pitch this season, sporting undefeated records and a combined two ties.
Both teams have dominated defensively, allowing only a combined 13 goals in 29 games. Attacking has been a strength for both teams too, and Dalton has found a way to score almost 6.5 goals a game.
Don’t be surprised if both teams walk away from the 2021 season with state championship titles.
