Georgia High School Football Rankings: Week 3

Week 3 of our Top 25 Georgia high school football rankings for Class 4A-7A saw top ranked Buford hang on against a pesky Clarke Central team.

North Cobb comes up with a big win over a Milton team missing LT Overton and moves up two spots with the victory.

Colquitt County loses at home for the first time since 2017, although it was versus a tough Westlake team.

The defending 7A state champion Grayson Rams, who lost at home to a solid Creekside team last week in their season opener, cautioned everyone not to count them out just yet, as they bounce back with an impressive victory over McEachern.

Blessed Trinity fell five spots to No. 15, while Bainbridge fell to No. 20 after falling to Coffee in the opener for both teams.

Warner Robins has come out of the gate with two impressive victories in 2021, including a 24-point win over Archer.

There’s still a lot of football left to play, so if your team hasn’t popped into the top 25 yet, they’ll have plenty of chances over the next few weeks!

Our Top 25 Georgia high school football rankings for Classes 1A-3A saw a ton of movement after the weekend’s action, including welcoming in four new members to the “T25 Club.”

ELCA still gets our vote as a top-five team despite a loss to the much larger 5A Ware County Gators, who have victories over a 2A team (Cook) and the 1A Private Chargers.

The top four are rock solid with Cedar Grove, Oconee County, Thomasville, and Rabun County locked in after wins this week.

Fitzgerald showed everyone that the rumors of their demise may have been a bit premature after knocking off the Irwin County Indians in OT.

We’re not quite sure what to make of Peach County just yet, as the Trojans are off to a slow start at 0-2. They drop out of our top 10 this week, but you can bet head coach Chad Campbell will fix whatever is ailing his team.

The new entries into our rankings this week are Dodge County, Pelham, Macon County, and North Cobb Christian.
