Georgia High School Flag Football vs. Regular Football: Comparing the 2025 Season Stat Leaders

As the 2025 Georgia high school fall season reaches its final stretch, standout performers in both flag football and traditional football have emerged as statistical leaders across the state. Using data from MaxPreps (current as of 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 21, 2025), the comparison highlights how the two sports differ in pacing, passing volume, and offensive production.

Note: The top five quarterbacks were ranked based on average passing yards per game, and the wide receivers were ranked based on average receiving yards per game. For flag football, only athletes who have played in a minimum of 15 games so far this season were included. For traditional football, only athletes who have played in a minimum of 10 games so far this season were included.

Quarterbacks: High Volume in Flag Football, High Efficiency in Football

Flag football quarterbacks continue to post massive yardage totals due to the fast-paced, pass-heavy structure of the sport. Harris County’s Madalynn Cauley leads all flag quarterbacks with 4,491 passing yards and 75 touchdowns through 21 games, averaging 213.9 yards per game with a 73.5% completion rate.

Milton quarterback Audrey Jensen follows with 3,948 yards and 58 touchdowns, while Calvary Day quarterback Page Stewart has thrown for 3,687 yards and 46 touchdowns. Blessed Trinity quarterback Addie Spak stands out with the highest completion percentage among the top five (77.1%), totaling 2,852 yards and 52 touchdowns in just 15 games. Harrison’s Emme Hackworth rounds out the top five flag football quarterbacks with 3,251 yards passing and 39 touchdowns over 18 games for an average of 180.6 yards passing per game.

On the traditional football side, efficiency and per-game production take center stage. North Hall quarterback Alex Schlieman leads all classifications with 3,129 passing yards and 28 touchdowns in 11 games, averaging 284.5 yards per game with a 76% completion rate. Sonoraville quarterback Chaz Pate and Westlake quarterback Cannon Robinson follow closely, each averaging more than 245 passing yards per game.

Deerfield-Windsor quarterback Lane Sceals ranks near the top with 2,947 yards and 34 touchdowns, while Lambert quarterback Ethan Daughtery rounds out the top five at 2,654 yards.

Wide Receivers: Consistency in Flag Football, Explosive Plays in Football

Flag football’s top receivers bring consistent production driven by short-to-intermediate passing attacks. Milton wide receiver Caroline Marshall leads the group with 1,661 yards on 123 receptions, averaging 83.0 yards per game. St. Anne-Pacelli standout KK Jackson follows with 1,515 yards and 30 touchdowns, while Blessed Trinity wide receiver Hannah Daley has 1,097 yards and 27 touchdowns through 15 games.

Harris County wide receiver Pearson Pettit and Milton wide receiver Alana Calhoun also surpassed the 1,000-yard mark, showcasing balanced playmaking across top-tier flag football programs.

In traditional football, explosive downfield plays shape the leaderboard. Calhoun’s Justin Beasley leads all receivers with 1,523 yards, averaging a staggering 138.5 yards per game. Mount Vernon wide receiver Taurean Rawlins (1,395 yards) and Athens Academy wide receiver Keyon Standifer (1,250 yards) follow, both averaging 125 yards or more per game.

Kennesaw Mountain’s Dylan Green and Rockmart’s Gavin Green round out the top five wide receivers, each averaging more than 105 yards per game and more than 22 yards per reception.

Flag vs. Football: Two Sports, Two Offensive Identities

While both sports highlight quarterback-receiver chemistry, the statistical comparison underscores distinct styles of play. Flag football emphasizes pace, possession, and precision, resulting in higher total yardage and touchdown counts. Meanwhile, traditional football rewards explosive plays, efficiency, and situational execution.

Georgia’s top athletes in both sports continue to elevate the level of high school competition statewide, showcasing the depth of talent across two growing and increasingly competitive landscapes.
